My client, a highly influential Public Sector organisation poised for a period of significant growth and expansion is now seeking an outstanding Recruitment Manager to join them for a fixed term period of 2 years.

As Recruitment Manager you will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s growth resourcing strategy through the tactical implementation of the strategy. You will lead a small team of recruitment professionals to deliver a high volume of hard to recruit professions in key areas of growth including data and digital experts, legal specialists and economists. You will also help ensure that the impact of the team and quality of the service is continuously improving through the implementation of systems and process and driving the use of data and MI to inform strategic recruitment decision making.

This role is ideally suited to a process-driven individual with the ability to move things forward at pace in a public sector organisation, and who is also able to deliver through others and is well-versed in the attraction of diverse hires.

To be considered you will also require:

  • Experience of leading a high performing recruitment team to deliver high quality recruitment outputs at pace, particularly volume recruitment and / or specialist recruitment
  • Experience of introducing appropriate and successful attraction strategies to improve the diversity and quality of hires
  • Experience of delivering improvements to process / practice to positively influence the success of recruitment service delivery and impact hiring manager capability
  • Experience of gathering, analysing and presenting management information to senior stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the experience of dealing with stakeholders of varying seniority levels to advise and remedy complex queries and issues
  • Experience of using information technology, particularly an online tracking system to manage hiring manager and candidate activity and outcomes

 

 

An immediate start for this post is available, however my client will also certainly consider a notice period of up to 1 month for the right candidate. The role can be based from offices in either London, Cardiff, Manchester, Belfast or Edinburgh and will offer flexibility for hybrid remote working, however the post-holder should ideally be willing to offering visibility at the office on a weekly basis.
