Do you have significant professional experience in global compensation and benefits, including international benefits practices? Are you highly analytical and methodical, with an exceptional level of numeracy? Then you can play a key part within our Corporate Services Directorate, which delivers comprehensive support to our diverse multinational team.

Bringing together 42 member countries, the CEB finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. Closely partnering the Director of Corporate Services and Head of HR, you will ensure that our salaries and packages remain fair, attractive and competitive. This will involve benchmarking market trends and monitoring offerings from other international organisations in order to develop innovative solutions that attract and retain top global talent. Your remit will span bonuses, pensions, health protection, job grading and pay increases, and you will profoundly influence our recruitment and onboarding strategies, so you can expect a very high profile and substantial impact on the way we operate.

To join us, you should possess:

  • A truly strategic mindset, including the ability to translate concepts and policies into concrete proposals
  • Strong IT skills (including Excel) and relationship building abilities
  • A background in an international financial institution or similar body (ideal but not essential)
  • Familiarity with local and international grading and pay practices plus knowledge of the French social security system (again useful but not essential)
  • Full fluency in either English or French, backed by some command of the other language

In return, you can expect an excellent tax-free salary and a comprehensive package of benefits, including a contributory pension plan, medical and personal insurance and, depending on your personal situation, family allowances as well as reimbursement of relocation expenses.

Applications should be made in English or French using the Council of Europe Development Bank online application system at https://ceb.profils.org before the deadline of 29 May 2022, midnight Paris time.
