What you'll be doing

As part of the People Team, you will be responsible for delivering training to our client’s entire colleague base. Working with their Learning & Development Administrator and Learning & Development Business Partner you will also support the coordination, development, delivery and evaluation of training that supports our client’s corporate business plan.

A major focus of your role will be welcoming new colleagues through our client’s corporate induction programme.

More about you

Dynamic, energetic and passionate about learning, you will have a history of delivering engaging training workshops and activities to a diverse audience, using a variety of face to face and online delivery platforms.

Evaluating your training offering and using this to continuously develop our training offer is also a vital part of the job.

At the same time, you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!

When and where you'll be doing it

Our client operates a hybrid working environment, so you will be able to work flexibly between working at home and working at our client’s office, depending on the training you are delivering.

Currently you should expect to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days a week.

What you’ll get in return

Our client thinks you’ll have a job that makes you feel good about what you’re doing and help them to make a difference to customers’ lives every day.

So in return for all your hard work, not only do you get a great salary but our client also offers:

  • A day’s leave on your birthday
  • 26 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 29 after 3 years’ service
  • Company Pension contribution of up to 10%
  • Flexible Benefits including health care, gym membership, buying holiday
  • And participation in our annual Homes for Good reward (upto 5% of your annual salary).

One more thing

Our client is about getting the right candidate for the right role.  They recognise that as an organisation they are underrepresented in certain areas so operate the disability confident scheme and welcome applications from applicants who identify as LGBT or are from an Ethnic Minority background. It would also be great to get applications from our client’s customers too.

About our client

Our client is an organisation with social purpose at its heart.  They provide affordable homes that help people find security and stability and a positive future.  They’re one of the largest housing associations in the South West and an expanding house builder, using their profits to create more affordable housing in their communities.  Our client’s values are at the core of how they work.  They care about their colleagues and their wellbeing and recognise their sense of pride in the work they do to support their customers.

Our client is proud to be ranked among the UK’s 100 best companies to work for in the latest Best Companies listings. They're also listed as the 5th best housing association to work for in the country, and among the top 50 best companies to work for in the South West!
