King’s College London’s HR People Technology Solutions team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR & Payroll System Manager to join the HR Digital Services team.

People Technology Solutions is responsible for the design and delivery of HR & Payroll digital services for over 9,000 colleagues across the university. The team consists of three collaborative hubs who are driven by service improvement and innovation: Digital Services Management, People Data & Analytics and Service Design & Improvement.

This role holder would join the digital service management team, who deliver system support, implementation of new software features and solutions, and service effectiveness management to our colleagues across the university.

The HR Digital Services Manager will be responsible for leading a team of digital services specialists across HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Workforce Management and BI, and managing the day to day running of King’s College London’s HR Management System - PeopleXD (formerly Core HR).

We are looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Systems Manager who has a strong background in HR & Payroll and supplier management. The role holder will need to be a strong analytical thinker, with an ability to think on their feet to problem solve, as well as have significant experience in running operational systems teams and managing projects. The post holder will also need to work closely with the Service Effectiveness & Data Manager to monitor service delivery and the Head of Service Design & Improvement to deliver system solutions.

To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR/Payroll business knowledge with system functionality, as well as lead and develop a team of system specialists whilst proactively driving process improvements.

The role holder will report to the Head of HR Digital Services Management.

This post will be offered on an a fixed-term contract for 9-12 months (Maternity cover).

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
