I am urgently recruiting to an Interim Payroll & Pension Manager role in a renowned University based in East London on an initial 4-month fixed term contract. You will need to be available to start ASAP ideally by 6th June 2022.
The role will pay £48,035 to £53,625 (depending upon experience) and will require you to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week and working remotely the remainder of the time. You will report to the Head of HR Operations and you will be responsible for the Payroll and Pensions team.
Your role will lead on all payroll related matters ensuring the team provides an efficient and effective payroll and pensions service to the organisation whilst leading on process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have: -
- Experience of using the Northgate Resource Link system for payroll
- Experience of working at this level in a complex organisation, ideally from the Higher Education, NHS or wider public sector
- Experience of managing a payroll team and overseeing the end-to-end payroll for approximately 6,000 staff
This is a critical post for the organisation to deliver its payroll function and there may be some interesting projects to consider as part of the role. This role could also lead to a permanent opportunity further down the line.
