Digital eLearning Specialist, manufacturing organisation in Cambridgeshire, competitive salary +hybrid working

Your new company
Hays HR is proud to be working with a global and vertically-aligned manufacturing organisation with a turnover of over £500 million in north Cambridgeshire who are seeking to appoint a Digital eLearning Specialist.


Your new role
As the Digital eLearning Specialist, you will design and deliver effective e-learning through video material, screencasts and interactive web-based resource. You will also work with the People team and business collaborators to execute the digital learning offering through great consulting, collaboration and design skills. You will work closely with all external systems suppliers to ensure all development updates are implemented effectively and road map requirements are on track.

You will be responsible for maintaining and developing LMS and via the centre of excellence team and People business partners the data across all systems, ensuring data integrity is maintained as a priority, as well as carrying out all system administration relating to LMS and content authoring tools.

You will project manage the deployment of new programmes within learning systems, liaising with external suppliers, internal and client stakeholders, managing and advising stakeholders on appropriate learning solutions and carrying out appropriate testing across multiple devices. You will support the Learning and Development Business Partner to deliver business requests and develop or purchase a new LMS.

You will evaluate the suitability and effectiveness of different types of online training content, and investigate emerging technologies, with a view to continuously developing and improving the area of digital learning.

What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will possess strong experience in creating and delivery of e-learning solutions, as well as extensive knowledge and experience of the full learning cycle. You will be able to create and maintain effective relationships with all Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders across the business.

You will be experienced and knowledgeable of working with LMS and content authoring tools/websites. Ideally you will have experience of video editing software and setting up sound/lighting/camera equipment and experience working in a matrix organisation, responsible to many stakeholders.

You will ideally have project management experience, and be confident and articulate communicator with people at all levels of business. You will be able to work autonomously when required as well as be an excellent team player, and solve problems and work on own initiative.

You will possess strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise a heavy workload. You will have experience within a learning and development function, whilst managing suppliers.
