General HR Function

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and ambitious University with a renowned reputation for teaching quality and student experience.  With a new Vice Chancellor and University Strategy, we are seeking to build on our position of academic and financial strength to achieve our aspirations for growth and diversification.  If you have vision, passion, creativity and determination to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

Norwich University of the Arts is one of the great British art schools.  Situated in the historic city centre of Norwich, with an impressive estate that encompasses both historic buildings and brand-new state of the art facilities, the University is a vibrant community that forms the beating heart of the city and region's arts and cultural worlds.

We are seeking an exceptional HR Business Partner to support the implementation of a new People Strategy.  Comfortable in supporting organisational change, you will be responsible for a portfolio of projects and role-model our values.

You will have strong generalist HR experience including change and performance management and organisational development. With a strong knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application, you will be confident in using your professional judgement to provide HR advice and advise on complex business issues and their people impacts.

We are committed to being an inclusive community that offers equality of opportunity and enables our staff and students to flourish and succeed, regardless of their background or personal circumstances. Our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion is embedded in everything that we do.  We celebrate the diversity of our backgrounds, cultures and actions, promoting art and design as a catalyst of social change.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Lynne Warwick, Director of Human Resources on 01603 756223.

Closing date: 5.00 pm on Wednesday 15th June 2022

Interviews will be held on Monday 27th June 2022
