Are you exceptionally experienced in HR management, including exposure to leadership positions? Do you have expert understanding of diverse HR disciplines, including compensation and benefits, sourcing and recruitment, people and performance management, conflict resolution and legal frameworks? Then you can lead a multicultural team of around ten professionals to shape our people strategy for an exciting future.

Bringing together 42 member countries, the CEB finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. Strengthening social cohesion and building thriving communities in Europe, we drive inclusive growth, bolster economic sustainability – and create exceptional careers.

Advising the Corporate Services Director and aligning our HR strategy to our Development Plan, you will oversee extensive workforce planning and place people management at the heart of our continuous improvement programme. At the same time, you and your team will act as true business partners to our Directorates, driving profound change, and will build a high-performing, diverse and inclusive corporate culture. Notably, you will proactively optimise our rules and policies, implement the latest IT developments to streamline HR processes, and champion best value in everything you do whilst actively mitigating risks.

In short, we will look to you to position us as an international employer of choice, so we need an outstanding professional with:

  • An advanced university degree in business administration, HR, law or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated managerial skills, including a very hands-on approach
  • Proven ability to translate creative ideas into clear strategies and improvement plans
  • A background in an international financial institution or similar organisation (ideal but not essential)
  • Full fluency in either English or French, backed by a good working knowledge of the other language

In return, you can expect an excellent tax-free salary and a comprehensive package of benefits, including a contributory pension plan, medical and personal insurance and, depending on your personal situation, family allowances as well as reimbursement of relocation expenses.
