Purpose Reporting to the Head of People and Culture you will lead our Sporting House business in the effective delivery of a Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Strategy delivering against our vision to service the operational teams across our business. As part of the People Team and in collaboration with the operational teams, you will manage all talent acquisition and recruitment activities from strategy, design to implementation, review and monitoring. You will have a passion for HR and people development and promote our Sporting House brand to onboard the leading talent in leisure, ensuring our business has a thriving and high-quality workforce to achieve customer excellence and be the Employer of Choice in the industry.

Responsibilities • Build strong relationships with managers to understand their hiring requirements and develop a strategy to support their growth plans. • Manage a strong and consistent pipeline of suitable, talent dense candidates to support the company’s growth plans. • Recruit in line with our company values and culture • Managing the process of full life cycle recruitment including sourcing and screening candidates, conducting recruitment methods including virtual recruitment centres, telephone and face to face interviews and administering psychometric tests to help us place top-quality candidates. • Assist hiring managers in creating engaging job descriptions to optimise candidate attraction • Manage all recruitment channels (including internal, job boards, social media, LinkedIn etc) • Manage all alternative recruitment strategies including apprenticeship and funded provision/projects. • Manage the outward facing storytelling of our people across the Sporting House brand and online presence. • Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders • Liaise with and manage external recruitment consultancies where required for specialist roles • Responsible for producing recruitment metrics on a regular basis • Line Management of a people coordinator to execute on all talent and resource requirements across the business need. • Stay up to date with current recruitment methods and hiring trends. • Ensure all recruitment and onboarding activities meet current legislation and ethical standards. • Inspire the Sporting House teams through smart ways of working, high-quality and open and honest culture. • Continuously improve through feedback and actively seek opportunities to expand skill set and subject areas to expand the provision of talent acquisition opportunities • Implement and maintain quality policies and processes to ensure robust recruitment provision and ensure equality of access to opportunities.
