Job Details

Delta Alpha Psi is a niche leadership and inclusion consultancy that creates extraordinary learning environments for inclusive culture change. We do this by nurturing brave spaces for authentic connection across difference, integrating research evidence for dialogue and change, gaining a deep understanding of client context, working at multiple levels for sustainable transformation and measuring the impact of our services.

Our purpose is to support organisations to recognise and act on the belief that greater diversity and inclusion is the responsibility of all. Therefore, we work across the organisation’s ecosystem, including Board level and senior leadership teams, in-house professionals (HR, L&D, D&I), managers and colleagues from majority and minority groups.

We have an extensive portfolio of blue chip and public sector clients proud to partner with us to implement a sustainable inclusion strategy.

As Delta Alpha Psi is growing rapidly, we are looking for more D&I Consultants who share our passion for maximising diversity of talent as well as offering excellent career progression and personal growth.

What do we do?

We apply academic and practical knowledge to improve diversity and inclusion in leading organisations and we are passionate and motivated by this purpose.

You will cover all areas of the consultancy lifecycle: business development, design and client delivery which is online and in person.  We all have the chance to contribute to Delta's strategy and future. We support our consultants by giving them the opportunity to work closely with our experienced senior leadership and inclusion specialists.  Our key focus areas are:

  • Taking the lead on (or supporting) the design and development of high quality, evidence-based solutions for our clients
  • Leading on (or supporting our more experienced consultants in) collating, reviewing and assessing available academic research/analysis
  • Winning (or contributing to winning) profitable business by integrating background research and writing proposals and pitch presentations
  • Contributing to thought leadership and research by preparing research reports and conducting research presentations at local or national events to enhance our Delta brand
  • Supporting our growing client network, liaising with clients and prospects to discuss their needs, resulting in the formation of productive relationships
  • Working closely with our consulting team to look for ways to build new client relationships e.g., active networking, asking for referrals, gathering impact data for sales and marketing purposes
  • Producing high quality evidence-based material and resources (e.g. handouts, slide decks, other learning collateral) that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Supporting the performance of our consultants (or learning from our experienced consultants) with a view to training others in (or acquiring) strong facilitation and/or coaching skills

Is this role for me?

You are passionate about diversity and inclusion.  You are keen to learn, progress and take on greater responsibilities in a culture of psychological safety and support.

We are looking for consultants at all levels from entry level to managing consultants.

At the moment we are home based and we travel to client sites and team meetings when required, the majority of which are in London.

Do I have the minimum requirements?

  • Ideally, you will hold a master’s degree, preferably in a psychology related subject.  Most importantly you have a genuine passion for leadership and psychology and can translate your learning into practical, relevant, and insightful delivery
  • You will have an excellent academic knowledge base of diversity and inclusion in organisational contexts or have a passionate desire to learn and grow in this field
  • You will have demonstrable diversity and inclusion experience within a commercial/corporate environment, though this may be flexible if you demonstrate a level of commerciality and insight into corporate D&I and professional career issues
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • You enjoy and thrive when working with people of all levels
  • You have proven qualitative research skills for conducting focus groups and interviews with employees, managers and leaders in business contexts or have a passionate desire to learn and grow in this field
  • You have proven quantitative research methods for analysis of programme evaluation/ impact data
  • You will be eligible to work in the UK

We are keen to discuss and implement any support or personalisation you may need during our application and selection process as part of our reasonable adjustments approach and encourage you to reach out to us when applying.
