Great step up opportunity! The Junior HR Business Partner partners closely with line managers to proactively drive the business priorities in their respective area.
Scope and deliver HR initiatives which drive a consistent and engaging employee experience across divisions; provide ongoing support to the HR Business Partners in all people matters.

Key Objectives


* Develop and implement HR initiatives/projects which impacts the employees experience and drives engagement
* Support with compiling HR metrics to measure success and scope future needs to continually improve the employee experience
* Support in managing employee relation issues
* Provide generalist support to the wider team

Main Responsibilities


* Balancing priorities and project work with the emerging and immediate needs of the business in line with strategy
* Has an ability and curiosity to scope complex tasks and project work and drive execution of the task and / or project work through to completion
* Works closely with the HRBP's to continually review our processes and ways of working to support continuous improvement
* Manage the implementation of the annual employee opinion survey
* Lead the Social committees and activities within the UK
* Champion and manage processes and communications related to the HR System
* Support HRBP with diversity and inclusion initiatives
* Ensure HR communications are consistent across all areas and manage/support with communication events
* Coach, support and challenge managers in their application of HR policies ensuring ER case management is in place to support each team and ensure compliance to policy and Employment law
* Support in managing change programs and initiatives
* Provide expert guidance regarding people issues to reduce risk and financial exposure
* Provide HR guidance to conclude long term absence and reduce short term absence
* Support with recruitment and learning and development deliverables as required by subject matter expert
* Use management data insight to inform forward planning to support the wider HR team e.g. analysis, turnover, exit interviews and new starter interviews
* Delivery of Induction to all new starters

Skills, Experience


* CIPD Level 5 required
* Solid understanding of employment law practices
* Proven HR experience
* Ability to work within a fast paced environment
* Excellent influencing, relationship building and communication skills
* Able to take full responsibility and ownership for their actions; hands-on and can-do attitude
* Experience in development and/or implementation of HR initiatives
* Understands and is able to apply HR practise, policy and legal requirements to employee relation cases and restructures
* Ability to think broadly and consider all implications across business function
* Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, managing multiple requests and deadlines
* Ability to think "solution" and recommend approach
