My client, a leading national Charity supporting those of us living with complex disabilities to get the most out of life, now has a fantastic opportunity for a talented HR Partner to join their HR team on a permanent basis.

As HR Partner you will work closely with the leadership team for your designated directorate to provide high quality and timely people insights, support leaders in developing high performing and engaged teams and coach managers to get the best from their people. As a member of the HR management team, you will also contribute to developing initiatives that support the development and delivery of the People strategy and the effective delivery of the organisational strategy.

Your role will include:
• Delivering a proactive, customer focused people partnering service to your directorate leadership team, advising on strategic and operational people issues
• Identifying current and emerging people trends and developing innovative, pragmatic solutions
• Leading organisational development and change programmes
• Coaching leaders and managers to develop their people management skills
• Championing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and embedding effective local action plans
• Leading the implementation and monitoring of People initiatives and policies
• Acting as the department’s professional lead on an HR specialism and undertaking organisation wide projects

To be considered you will offer:
• CIPD level 5 or equivalent work-related experience
• Proven experience of delivering customer focused HR business partnering and proactively partnering leaders to build high performing teams
• Substantial experience in a generalist HR role including resourcing strategies and employee relations
• A demonstrable commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion with experience of supporting the delivery of an EDI strategy
• Proven experience of effectively managing and implementing people-centred projects
• Up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
• Previous experience in the Charity sector or a similar values-driven environment would be desirable
