Let us tell you a little bit about the role....
We have an exciting opportunity for a resourcing professional to join us in this key senior level role within our busy Resourcing team. Providing support and guidance throughout the team across all elements of the recruitment cycle from attraction strategies to assessment techniques, you’ll help us to ensure we attract the best talent when and where we need it. Working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation whilst utilising and growing our data will help you to understand our resourcing needs and challenges, ensuring we have the right resource and strategies in place.

You'll be a key point of contact within the team providing advice, solutions, governance and creativity across all aspects of our resourcing processes.

With the opportunity to work closely with the Resourcing Manager, you’ll drive and support key resourcing projects through the team and across the organisation, always looking for where improvements can be made.

You’ll be a competent and knowledgeable resourcing professional with proven leadership abilities. Having experience of recruiting to both volume campaigns and niche roles, with a good understanding of market trends and challenges you will help us to ensure we build our brand and attract top talent. Your leadership skills will lead and develop the team to provide excellent levels of customer service, best practice advice and creative resourcing solutions. With an eye for detail, you’ll analyse our resourcing data so that we know what works well and where we need to do things differently.

With strong communication skills, you’ll easily build positive relationships with others, allowing you to understand our business needs, provide advice and guidance when needed and influence at senior levels.

Accountabilities:
. Delegates activities across team to drive outcomes and ensure timely solutions of resourcing issues.
. Develops and operates local Resourcing strategies and Resourcing operational plans in support of the overall people strategy.
. Works alongside senior managers as an escalation point to understand their Resourcing needs and assists in translating those needs into a clear Resourcing strategy.
. Supports staff development and knowledge transfer within the team to optimise flexibility and efficiency of service delivered.
. Ensures Resourcing policies and procedures are applied appropriately and accurately throughout the team.
. Continuously reviews and anticipates work volumes and prioritises work through interpretation of historical and future business activities in discussion with the Resourcing Manager.
. Overseeing organisation change projects, and is required to prioritise these activities alongside business as usual (BAU) within the team.
. Manages BAU application of operational HR within the team, ensuring compliance with standards and policies, which include:
 - Resourcing – driving forward recruitment and redeployment activities to ensure all outcomes are in the best interests of CQC whilst achieving value for money
 - Assessing risk within the Resourcing team and making recommendations to management regarding appropriate solutions and mitigation of identified risk where cases have escalated
. Have the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience to actively promote diversity and equality of opportunity, treat everyone with dignity and respect and avoid unlawful discrimination.

Specific Skills and Experience:
. Experience of working in an Resourcing advisory capacity.
. Relevant HR qualification.
. Experience of working with line management to understand their Resourcing needs for their areas and facilitating desired solutions.
. Good working experience of Resourcing processes and activities.
. Good experience of risk assessment and creation of solutions to mitigate risk.
. Experience of developing and delivering key performance indicators and generating relevant management information.
. Good verbal and written communication skills to suit different audiences.
. Good organisational skills.
. Good IT skills.
. Good influencing and coaching skills.
. Effective networker and relationship-builder.
. Experience of project management.
