Head of HR Services, EMEA

A global pharmaceutical firm that is recognised for having an innovative approach and countless breakthroughs in medicine. They have an overseas HQ and c12,000 employees globally; they are a market leader and about to embark on a period of transformation. As part of their change journey, they are moving away from their current HR model and introducing a HR Shared Services structure.


The EMEA HR Shared Services Lead will partner with CoE, HR Leadership and HR Technology amongst others to shape the HR Shared Services roadmap for EMEA and ensure alignment with the global agenda. As EMEA Head of HR Shared Services you will improve the employee experience, streamline existing processes, and ultimately influence how services are delivered to all employees in the changing EMEA region - c5,000 employees, across 20 + countries. You will balance end-user experience with operational needs, keeping a commercial approach and build a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead a team of c20, including 4 senior direct reports based in EMEA.


You will have HR Shared Services leadership experience within the EMEA region and a progressive track record of supporting thousands of employees across multiple countries. You will illustrate expertise in HRSS methodology and in leading significant HRSS changes including operating design, change management and systems (Workday and Service Now). You will enjoy building trust with senior leadership, developing regional teams and working in an extremely fast paced, commercial environment. Project management qualifications will be well received, as will languages.


Compensation will be based upon experience to date, ranging from £90,000 - £115,000 with car allowance, bonus and benefits on top.


Hybrid working is in place - employees are in the office twice per week.
