Job Details

Morgan Law are delighted to be working with the London Borough of Hounslow on an amazing newly creative, forward thinking OD role.

With a new Leader, an innovative, 'can do' culture and an award-winning HR & OD team (PPMA Awards) driving forward change and transformation, there has never been a better time to join the 'Council of the Year' (LGC Awards) London Borough of Hounslow (LBH).

We are looking for an ambitious Strategic OD, Leadership and Learning Partner to be an LBH Leader, with a responsibility to embrace and lead change; be outcome-focused; and put Hounslow residents at the very heart of everything we do and every decision we take
Your principal focus will be on enabling our people to Connect, Belong, Grow and Flourish through a first class, modern and inventive organisational, leadership and people development service that you'll help to shape. You'll lead programmes and initiatives at a strategic level that develop our culture and embed our LBH Values across everything we do in additional to managing and developing a small team of OD Practitioners.

As a key member of the HR & OD leadership team and LBH Leadership Community, you will also drive forward transformational and culture change to create the One Hun's,' approach.
The top 5 things about you that are most important:

You bring significant experience of strategically leading organisational, leadership and people development programmes within a complex environment.

You know how to communicate expertly, both verbally and in writing. You're a skilled and engaging facilitator in person and virtually, able to influence, motivate and inspire colleagues up to Board level.

You'll have guided and made a key contribution to the delivery of transformational change at a strategic level, thriving in a dynamic, agile environment where you work flexibly to lead programmes that meet changing priorities and needs.

You take a strengths-based, solutions-focused approach to development, using diverse sources of data and insight to lead the creation of innovative strategic solutions to meet current, emerging and future needs.

You're an inclusive, inspiring senior leader, able to role model our LB Hounslow Values through your behaviours, team ethos and commitment to your own professional development.
