Blenheim High School is a Single Academy Trust that is currently recruiting new Trustees for our Board. Trustees are also the governors and directors of the academy as registered at Companies House and are unpaid roles - but vital roles and incredibly rewarding.
Do you have skills in one or more of the following areas?
- Safeguarding
- Human Resource Management
- Well-being
Have you had experience on other boards?
Have you chaired other boards / committees?
Is your passion for education driving you to support a local school and shape the lives of the next generation?
As a part of our team, can you challenge and support the school’s management?
Can you appropriately retain your sense of humour in challenging times?
Do you have time to prepare for and attend meetings?
We ask that you commit to one visit to the school each term during school time in addition to attending one or two formal meetings per month - normally in the evening with time to read papers and prepare beforehand.
Do you have a willingness to learn and develop new skills? Training will be provided.
