HR Administrator


HR Administrator required 3 Months temporary with the possibility to become permanent

Your Responsibilities

* Support the administration of the Trust single central record (SCR)
* To lead key aspects of the Trust's recruitment processes, including:
* Organisation of the interview process, including contacting candidates, production of interview packs and statutory candidate document checks
* Ensure pre-employment checks (DBS, medical etc.) are conducted in a timely manner to support schools in bringing staff on board in line with the specified timeframe, alerting the HR Lead to any potential issues which may delay the process
* To process staff appointment documentation for successful candidates, including offer letters, contracts of employment and all pre-employment checks and induction details
* To monitor absence reporting and recording processes, ensuring that all absence is reported, recorded and followed up in accordance with Trust policies and procedures
* To support the probation process, ensuring that managers complete probation meetings and paperwork on time and that is appropriately recorded
* To coordinate the staff induction process.
* To support the development and continuous improvement of the HR system, ensuring consistent data is held for all staff
* To support HR colleagues in preparing reports and data for committees including the Trust Board, Resources Committee and Local Governing Body meetings

Qualifications and Experience


* GCSE A-C / 9-4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
* Excellent ICT skills
* Excellent literacy and numeracy competency
* Experience of HR administration
* Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines
* Previous administration experience
* Excellent verbal and written skills
* Professional and courteous telephone manner
* Ability to participate professionally in a range of business situations
* Excellent computer and digital skills, such as Outlook, Excel and Word
