Interim Head of Recruitment & Workforce Planning - Band 8b - Hybrid Working



Morgan Law have a great opportunity for an Interim Head of Recruitment and Workforce Planning role to join this NHS Trust in the Northern Home Counties.



The Head of Recruitment and Workforce Planning is a key role within the People Directorate and will provide strategic direction leadership and line management to the Recruitment team, working closely with the Deputy Director of HR; Workforce and Wellbeing in addition to working collaboratively across the ICS.



The successful candidate will be providing strategic direction leadership and line management to the Recruitment team and to ensure provision of a high-quality transactional service to the Trust and external candidates. Ensure we are leading the way in promoting flexible working opportunities and inclusivity in all our recruitment activity.



Key responsibilities:

* To manage and lead the provision of a high quality, responsive and comprehensive recruitment service for the Trust. Ensuring the provision of pro-active and customer friendly recruitment solutions. Working in partnership at both place and system levels.
* Ensure compliance with national guidance and appropriate employment law.
* To commission and provide reports for managers to assist with informed decision-making regarding workforce planning.
* Ensuring the Trusts candidate attraction strategies are well designed, targeted appropriately and which seek to attract the right candidates to the service, often within challenging labour markets, developing recruitment strategies and plans to facilitate this.
* Consider the financial impact of strategic vacancy management and workforce profiling. Work closely with finance and operational lead to ensure triangulation of workforce planning activity and delivery.
