We're recruiting for an interim HR Business Partner, to join us for a maternity leave contract until 30 November 2023. Working for an iconic cultural institution, you will be part of our unique and fascinating world, joining a globally renowned arts organisation.



Our HR Business Partners provide high quality and timely people insights, coaching and support. Working across a number of distinct business areas you will partner with leadership to influence and drive forward their strategic goals and develop initiatives to support us in effectively delivering our People strategy and organisational strategy.



You will support leaders in developing high performing and engaged teams and coach managers to get the best from their people, helping leadership create a great employee experience where all our colleagues thrive. This role will be based in London at our offices in Tate Britain, London. We are supportive of hybrid working with the option to work remotely 2-3 days a week (50%).



Key Responsibilities to include:



* Deliver a proactive, customer focused people partnering service to the leadership team, advising on strategic and operational people issues.
* Identify current and emerging people trends and develop innovative, pragmatic solutions to resolve them.
* Lead organisational development and change programmes.
* Coach leaders and managers to develop their people management skills.
* Champion Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and work with the EDI Lead to embed effective local action plans.
* Lead local implementation and monitoring of People initiatives and policies.
* Lead on an HR specialism acting as the department's professional lead and undertake organisation wide projects.
* Develop and implement clear, accessible HR policy, procedure and tools.



About you:

* CIPD level 5 or equivalent work-related experience
* Experience of delivering customer focused business partnering, proactively partnering leaders to build high performing teams.
* Substantial experience in a generalist role including high volume employee relations.
* Up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
* Demonstrable commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
* Proven experience of effectively managing and implementing people-centred projects.
