The fleet is supported by a highly experienced team of drivers, planners and transport managers with vehicles covering the entire UK and Northern Europe.

Due to continued growth, this organisation are now looking for a Human Resources Officer to support our HR Manager.

Your new role

Reporting into the HR Manager this role will be responsible for supporting a 1200 headcount business within a fast paced blue collar working environment. This role will focus around recruitment, handling multiple vacancies and supporting the wider business through recruitment processes and development of the talent acquisition strategy. This role will lead on general employee relations case work across a diverse workforce and include management of sickness absence, grievance processes and disciplinaries. What you'll need to succeed

Knowledge and experience of haulage and logistics would be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have a CIPD or equivalent qualification and a minimum of two years in a similar HR role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential. They will also have an understanding of employment law and best practice.
