Your new company
You will be joining a brilliant charity with just over 50 employees based in Oxford who are looking for a HR professional to join them in a stand alone capacity. The organisation work in a flexible/hybrid basis and can support home working for up to 3 days per week. Some travel across Oxford to visit other sites may be required from time to time.

Your new role
Reporting to the CEO (who has a very good knowledge of HR) you will be accountable for the day to day HR Operations, including payroll and recruitment support. The CEO has re-vamped their HR strategy ensuring that it puts people first, they are looking for someone who can contribute ideas to support the ongoing evolution of the people strategy.

To give an example, they recently upped holiday contribution by 3 days and are looking at how they can increase benefits for their people to help with the cost of living crisis. They have also taken a very flexible approach to working hours and home working where business needs allow.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to answer HR queries and keep on top of a well run HR service. The CEO is looking for someone who wants to progress their HR career as this is an opportunity for the role to progress into a more senior position and bring in HR Administrative support to manage and mentor. Ideally, we are looking for CIPD L5 or at least several years experience in a generalist capacity. Experience of the charity sector would be a huge advantage.
