Team QEH have a rare opportunity for a focused team player with a can do attitude to join our Workforce Resourcing team!

Candidates should have previous Medical Staffing experience including terms and conditions for all grades of Doctors.

This role will be responsible for the day to day operational running of medical staffing queries where no two days are the same.  You will also be responsible for the provision of the Temporary Staffing service within the Trust for both bank and agency staff.

Applicants must be flexible and reliable, and committed to providing a first class customer experience to everyone who utilises the services of the Workforce Resourcing  team, including candidates and colleagues alike.

The post-holder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and effective Medical Staffing service to the Trust, and will also be the Temporary Staffing Lead for all staff groups

You will work closely with the Head of Workforce Resourcing and another Medical Workforce Manager,  liaising regularly with the Medical Director, Deputy Medical Director, Clinical Directors & Service Managers to support the forward planning, modernisation, engagement and performance of the medical workforce.

The key areas of focus are:

  • Terms and Conditions for Medical Staff
  • Liaison with Medical Education colleagues
  • Junior Doctor rotational training schemes
  • Medical Workforce Planning and Performance
  • Temporary Staffing including Bank and Agency liaison
  • Policy writing and Joint working with LNC
  • Equality and Diversity workstream

There may be the opportunity for candidates who do not meet the full requirements of this post, to undertake a 12 month development opportunity at a band 6 level. Upon successful completion of agreed objectives within this timescale, the post holder would then move to a band 7.
