Executive Business Support Assistant, Charity Sector, Norwich/Hybrid, c£25,500-27,600 + benefits

Your new company
Your new organisation supports vital and life-changing services throughout East Anglia. They are searching for an Executive Business Support Assistant to join their team to aid the executive team in governance and systems processes within the organisation, all while promoting their values and vision and collaborating closely with other team members to foster efficiency and improvement. This role has access to hybrid working (50/50) and will provide you the chance to work for a reputable charity. Your efforts will be worthwhile, motivating, and encouraging.

Your new role
Within your new role, you will provide administrative support to the CEO regarding external appointments, organising meetings and maintaining confidentiality of files and documents. You will be responsible for providing secretarial support to the Chair of Trustees, Trustees and Company Secretary, preparing agendas, providing minutes, and overseeing Trustee information.

You will be responsible for the maintenance of the charity's strategic policy and objective files, also being responsible for the Business Continuity Plan and updating where necessary. You will need to act as the key first point of contact and advisor for Trustees and be a key interface between themselves and the executive team.

Other key roles will include:


* Support the production of the charity's annual trustee report
* Organise attendance at external meetings, conferences, and training events
* Facilitate the recruitment and appointment of Trustees and supporting the induction process
* Monitoring and supporting improvements of the governance framework and trustee handbook

This is a full time position working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous executive assistance experience and be comfortable engaging regularly with executive members, trustees and other chair members and working to deadlines. You must have the ability to respect and adhere to the charity policies and procedures and empathise with their aims, objectives, and values.

To succeed you will need the ability to provide professional, proactive and intuitive support service in the support of day to day practical needs and diary management. You must have excellent communication and team working skills and be able to communicate sensitively and tactfully with beneficiaries and stakeholders.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of circa £25,536 - £27,606 (opportunity of incremental performance related pay increases), 23 days holiday plus BH, free parking, amongst other great benefits.
