Resourcing Assistant / Advisor, Charity Sector, Colchester/Hybrid, circa £21-28k, plus excellent benefits

Your new role
The main function of this role will be to work alongside the Resourcing Manager (RM) to support the delivery of recruitment and onboarding services, meeting the diverse needs of the organisation. The key responsibilities of the role include:


* Assist in supporting the recruitment of staff with the right skills, attributes and values which will satisfy the immediate and future needs of the organisation.
* Developing innovative approaches and optimising use of social media platforms, job adverts and other networking initiatives.
* Liaising effectively with the RM to provide timely data sets and reporting.
* Supporting the recruitment process from beginning to end.
* Supporting the RM with new recruitment initiatives and contributing new creative ideas to assist in the performance and development of resourcing functions
* Undertaking relevant training to ensure competency is maintained in line with systems development and service improvements
* Maintaining and updating the central database, handling high volumes of information.


This is a full-time position working 35 hours a week between the hours of 8 and 6, with the exact working plan allowing flexibility. There is also opportunity for hybrid working, with the expectation to work at HQ in Colchester 3 days a week.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have had some previous recruitment experience, in house or agency. You will be detail conscious, whilst having a drive to consistently update your personal knowledge and be passionate about the future of the organisation. You will be proactive and keen to network both internally and externally.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of circa £21,000-28,000 (experience dependant), 25 days annual leave + BH (increasing with service), hybrid working offering, standard pension entitlements, future for potential study support in line with their proactive training agenda, salary progression opportunities, discount scheme, access to EAP services, role and sector exposure, and a fantastic, nurturing, and rewarding work environment.

You will work 35 hours, with flexi-start and finish times (core hours 8am-6pm, with an hour lunch).

There is limited and bookable parking but this is not a guarantee.
