Senior People & OD Advisor - Temporary until end of 2023 Cardiff - Hybrid £17.24p/hr

Your new company
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior People & OD Advisor to join the team of a well-known Public Sector organisation based in Cardiff, who pride themselves on working together with trust and respect to make a difference.


Your new role
As a Senior People & OD Advisor, you will be providing specialist advice and guidance to a diverse customer base of managers and staff, assessing and screening issues according to complexity and risk. You will provide management guidance relating to highly complex, sensitive, or controversial issues, including situations involving conflicts of interest. You will develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation including providing high quality advice and guidance to People and OD Partners, managers, staff and other stakeholders. You will also manage a caseload of complex investigations and higher risk employee relations issues to conclusion, covering a broad range of workforce matters. You will be using a variety of MS Office applications, including ESR, assist the People & OD Advisor Service Manager with the production of reports, documents as requested.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be at an associate member of CIPD and be educated to postgraduate diploma level acquired through degree and professional HR qualification or equivalent level of experience. You will have a significant generalist & OD knowledge base with demonstrable understanding of People & OD policies, procedures, and employment legislation, including policy development. You will have proven complex employee relations case management experience, including coaching experience. You will also have the ability to communicate with managers and staff at all levels in the organisation; and be able to build effective working relationships.


What you'll get in return
Hourly rate of £17.24p/hr, temporary until end of 2023 and flexible and hybrid working.
