Associate Director of Resourcing, up to £291 per day, Gloucester, hybrid, 4-6 month assignment

Your new role
In this strategic post you will be a key member of the senior People & OD leadership team and you'll be implementing effective resourcing strategies that support the workforce transformation plans for the organisation and enable the recruitment, supply and retention of a highly skilled and competent substantive and temporary workforce. In this interesting role, you will lead the design and oversee the implementation of effective and consistent ways of working within the Resourcing function for all staff groups including but not limited to Recruitment, International Recruitment, UK Staffing, Temporary Staffing and E-Roster Services.
The Associate Director of Resourcing will use highly developed specialist knowledge and experience of complex resourcing and workforce strategies - acts as the Trust lead for resourcing and provides strategic business focused advice to the senior leaders and the Executive team.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive experience of working in a fast paced, customer facing environment with specific experience aligned to recruitment and resourcing
Extensive experience of leading and developing resourcing services including but not limited to Recruitment, International Recruitment, UK Staffing, Temporary Staffing and E-Roster Services
Experience of leading and contributing to service improvement initiatives that work to tight timescales specific to the recruitment and selection of staff
Experience of managing a large group of staff and demonstrating effective leadership
Demonstrable experience of supporting senior leaders to identify and deliver resourcing plans for operationally crucial roles
Experience of managing a large budget and meeting programme deliverables
Experience of developing, delivering and monitoring against internal / external SLA's
Experience of leading and supporting recruiting managers with interview best practice
Experience and understanding of dealing with performance management and team development
Demonstrates an inclusive and supportive leadership style
Experience of coaching and training managers in resourcing practice
