We have an exciting opportunity to join our People Directorate in the brand-new role of People Business Partner.

We’re looking for experienced professionals who have a progressive and people first mindset, as we focus on achieving our strategic ambitions and creating a great place to work.

You will work in a business focused way with a designated care group, able to fully understand the strategic vision and direction, the opportunities, and challenges to effectively diagnose and engage appropriate strategic and operational workforce and development input and support.

You will act as an advocate of change and transformation in support of business and people strategies and champion best practice people management, influencing key business decisions to ensure the effective management of staff through fair, efficient, and pragmatic application of best practice to ensure successful delivery of patient focused services.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, a creative thinker and hands-on and collaborative in their approach, with strong leadership skills, and an interest in building relationships at every level within the organisation and with external partners.

We work in an agile working environment and there will be a requirement for onsite and home working. Whilst this job is advertised on a full time basis please note we are happy to consider alternative patterns of work, such as part-time work, job-sharing, compressed hours etc.
