Job Details

My NHS Client is looking for an Interim Recruitment & Retention Lead to join the organisation, initially until end March 2024. This role can be done in the main remotely.

Your remit will be to lead on the development of the organisations attraction and retention plans to encourage interest in health and care roles, lead the development of a brand and complementary attraction campaigns for hard to recruit roles and work with a range of system leaders to develop system wide benefits and innovative interventions and incentives to attract and retain our valuable multi-generational workforce.

You will work with system partners on a system wide retention programme that complements local activities ensuring that our people feel valued and can develop in their careers, have access to support, development and opportunities and be encouraged to achieve their individual ambitions in the workplace.

You will lead on plans to address current and future predicted workforce supply requirements to create a sustainable workforce pipeline. This will involve working effectively with colleagues across health, care and our communities on the development and delivery of effective recruitment and retention activities that are complementary to local activities including ensuring that our workforce is representative of the local communities served.

Lead on the development of collaborative and transparent arrangements for domestic and international recruitment across the system, including attracting local people into health and care careers, through work with schools, colleagues, local enterprise partnerships and local communities.

You will also agree a system-wide approach to the streamlining of recruitment processes across an Integrated Care System (ICS) onboarding and induction process, a digital passport to mobilise the system workforce and effective and appropriate candidate pastoral care.

Candidates must of worked in a similar role before either in the NHS or woder Public sector organisation.

This role can be delivered on a mainly remote basis.
