HR Business Operations Partner – West Yorkshire Pension Fund

Indicative Special A:  £50,467 - £54,378 pa

1 x 37 hours per week (flexitime scheme in operation)

Bradford Council’s Human Resources and Organisational Development Department are embarking upon an exciting new era, with people firmly at the heart of our Council vision to reduce inequalities and help shape a better future for all. We are excited to be recruiting to this fantastic opportunity, working as part of the wider HR service within Bradford Council and will provide bespoke strategic and employee lifecycle HR support to West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF). 

West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) administers the Local Government Pension Scheme for over 850 employers based throughout the UK. It also has a shared service partnership with Lincolnshire Pension Fund, the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Barnet and a number of Fire Authorities for the administration of the Firefighters Pension Schemes. The Funds have a combined membership totalling  500,000. More information on this can be found on their website at www.wypf.org.uk.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and people focussed professional to help West Yorkshire Fund achieve its strategic goals.  This is an exciting HR role within our HR and Business Operations Team within HR and will report directly to the Head of Workforce, HR Advisory and HR Business Operations, with further reporting lines into WYPF senior management.

This broad and varied role will be accountable for delivering a full range of strategic and operational HR advice and guidance to managers within WYPF and our wider organisation.  This will include managing and advising on staffing restructures, TUPE transfers, job evaluation and grading, workforce planning and supporting and enabling the delivery of HR and OD strategies, as well as advising on conditions of service.  You will also work with collaboratively with our HR Advisory Team.

The role holder will lead and role model Council values and behaviours to enable a supportive and inclusive working culture where all staff are encouraged, supported and developed irrespective of their background.
