Your new role
Main Responsibilities

* To provide administration support for all HR matters to a high-quality standard and within the agreed timescales.
* To work closely with the payroll team to ensure the smooth processing of the monthly payroll.
* To take first line response to all phone queries and manage the HR Inbox to provide basic advice where appropriate.
* To process letters, forms and reports in a timely manner.
* To support all managers with basic queries on policies and procedures.
* To support the HR team with the whole employee life cycle.
* Identify and prioritise own workload to ensure that objectives are met.
* Input and maintenance of data to all HR systems.
* To maintain and improve the HR database.
* To support the team with reviewing current processes and implementing ideas to improve our HR function.
* Ensure that HR information on the HR system is up to date and accurate.
* To provide administrative support for the recruitment process from start to finish.
* Ensure all internal HR processes and procedures are adhered to.
* Undertake any other duties necessary for the operation of the department consistent with the nature of the post

The successful applicant must have:

* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* An understanding of customer service skills.
* An understanding of payroll processes.
* Friendly, approachable and reliable.
* Experience in ICT skills (e.g. MS Office suite, databases and use of email and internet).
* Happy to work as part of a team or on own initiative when necessary.
* Commitment to Equality & Diversity.
* A willingness to work within a HR function and undertake any further training required.
