We are seeking an experienced well organised and proactive HR generalist able to hit the ground running and deliver first class people management solutions.
Taking responsibility for HR Support to our Neighbourhood Services team, this is an excellent opportunity to work closely with line managers across the service to make a difference to the teams wellbeing through both proactive and reactive interventions in order to reduce sickness absence levels.
You will be CIPD qualified to level 5 or above, with a sound grasp of employment law and awareness of the particular workforce challenges in local government.
You be an excellent communicator with the ability to provide practical support, advice and guidance to line managers on a range of HR related issues. You will also be able to effectively time manage a busy workload.
This post is offered on a full-time basis until 31st
Crawley is an exciting place to work, with a vibrant town centre and excellent transport connections. We have a hybrid working set up which allows a balance of working from home and at least two days in the office. It’s likely you will be based at our Metcalf Depot site which offers free on-site parking, however you are also welcome to work from the town hall in our new state-of-the-art offices, with excellently designed spaces that facilitate collaborative working.
