Your new role
This is a generalist HR Support role, with duties for the HR Officer including:

* To assist in providing operational support, advice and guidance to managers and staff on a full range of HR matters including attendance management, local terms and conditions, recruitment, selection and on-boarding.
* To manage the processes and administration connected to the employee lifecycle (recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, terms and conditions)
* To support the delivery of HR objectives and KPI\'s as part of the organisation\'s OD & HR Strategy
* To be the first point of contact for HR enquiries, providing support where appropriate, or signposting enquiries to the appropriate point
* To provide information and advice about the correct application of HR policies and processes within the remit of experience. Escalate to HR Advisors and/or HR Business Managers as appropriate.
* To provide support and advice to people managers on routine casework, recruitment and training activity.
* To provide co-ordinated and consistent support to the HR Service, contribute to the provision of a comprehensive, effective and efficient HR transactional service, working with colleagues to achieve key HR objectives and deliver the organisation\'s OD/HR strategy.

What you\'ll need to succeed

* Experience of working at HR Officer/Assistant/Admin level gained through working in a busy HR function (E)
* Experience of HR policy writing and implementing process improvements (D)
* Experience of working with a HRIS (E) ITrent (D)
* Experience of supporting HR/learning and development administrative tasks including training coordination and employee benefits (D)
* An understanding of employee lifecycle including processes and procedures (E)
* Experience of delivering new starter inductions (E)
* Understanding cultural change, organisational behaviours and values. (D)
* Solutions/customer focused / strong initiative (E)
* Ideally qualified or keen to study for a CIPD qualification (D)
