Job Details

We are actively recruiting for an immediate start HR Business Partner to join a Multi-Schools Trust for a period of up to 6 months (possibly longer). With a base in South East London, this role offers hybrid working, requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite, with some travel to other local sites required.

As HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive HRBP service to Head of Schools/Headteachers and other staff, working primarily on Employee Relations casework. You'll provide professional advice and support through actively coaching line managers and attending meetings, ensuring the fair and consistent application of Trust policies and procedures, based on up-to-date employment legislation and best practice HR principles. You will also manage the HR/ER case list being managed within the HR team.

To be successful in this role, you will require ideally MCIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) and experience of working in a busy HR department in an Employee Relations focused role at business partner level with good knowledge of UK employment legislation. You will have experience of providing advice on HR case work up to Employment Tribunal appeals and have an understanding of working in a unionised and complex environment.
