Job Details

I am urgently seeking an experienced HR Consultant for an interim period to the end of July 2024 initially, to work with a renowned Higher Education (University) organisation based in central London. Depending upon experience, the role will pay a salary of £42,500 to £51,000 per year and is full time (5 days per week) with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days working remotely. The role is to focus on complex Employee Relations casework and can start as soon as possible.

Reporting to the Head of HR Advisory, you will manage and lead on complex ER casework, support on policy, work with trade unions and guide managers through processes. The ideal candidate will :-

- Be MCIPD qualified

- Have vast experience of working on complex ER case work including Tribunals

- Have experience of developing and advising on policy

- Have experience of negotiating with trade unions

- Be used to coaching and guiding managers

- Have excellent influencing and persuasion skills

- Have an excellent understanding of managing risk

A background in the Higher Education or wider public sector would be desirable.
