You will also require a strong focus on building effective working relationships with managers and staff in order to deal with queries effectively and efficiently.

To be considered you will also require:

* CIPD Level 5 membership or equivalent professional experience
* Recent experience in an employee relations focussed HR generalist role
* Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and equalities related legislation across all HR disciplines and people management best practice
* The ability to provide sound HR support and guidance to line managers without close supervision
* Previous experience of working in Higher Education or a similar public sector environment
* A self-motivated, pro-active and flexible approach combined with an ability to adapt to change and manage a diverse workload
