Hours 37 hours per week (full time with flexible working/hybrid opportunity)

As the Group Head of Human Resources, reporting to Kay Taylor our Group Director of Human Resources and People Development you will play a pivotal part in shaping the organisational culture, driving employee engagement and ensuring we remain a great place to work (89% of staff agreed in our recent staff survey). You will lead a team of dedicated HR professionals in developing and implementing the HR improvement plan underpinning our exciting new People Strategy.
This is a unique opportunity to influence and to shape the direction of the HR service to our curriculum and support colleagues. You will be joining a friendly and hardworking team with a passion for the part they play in our student's educational journey with us.
The ideal candidate will be a self – motivated, experienced leader, with high levels of confidence in the provision of human resources advice and guidance to Heads of Department. The successful candidate should have a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to drive this forward across a diverse team.
A minimum of 5 years' experience is essential and ideally with CIPD level 7 Diploma in Human Resources.
Schedule
- The role is Monday to Friday with the option for hybrid working (part on site and part working from home) Location of the main HR office is at Stockton Riverside College, however we also have an office at Redcar and Cleveland College and either could be used as a base. Flexible lunch breaks Rather not work the normal 9 – 5 ? If you have a working pattern that you would prefer, please discuss this with us and we might be able to support.
