Job Details

Are you a motivated and professional individual with a background in Organisational Development or Human Resources and a passion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)?

Do you possess excellent project management skills and experience of leading and managing organisational-wide projects?

Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to further your career as an EDI specialist within a leading Academic institution?

If you've just answered yes to these questions, then this might just be career step you've been waiting for. Morgan Law are delighted to now be partnering with Middlesex University in the search for their new permanent EDI Business Partner.

As EDI Business Partner, you'll join a dedicated EDI team as a strategic business partner to drive the delivery of the University's EDI initiatives and help ensure it fulfils its organisational commitments to EDI. You'll provide expert advice to the business on its EDI HR/People practice and EDI Learning and Development offer, closely with HR Business Partner & L&D colleagues across the wider People and Culture service. This post is intended to work in collaboration and partnership with staff and at the leading edge of best practice in EDI, to facilitate change and build and embed EDI capability and maturity across the University.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of working on large-scale organisational development programmes, cultural change programmes and behavioural change. You will have experience in leading equality, diversity and inclusion practice, and in working with numerous stakeholders and projects with conflicting priorities. You will also have experience in the leadership of EDI HR/People practice and EDI learning and development, together with experience of embedding practice within training, policy, systems and processes and a good understanding of EDI Charters. Critically, you will demonstrate vision and practical implementation skills, and the ability to connect with people from a multitude of backgrounds, building trust and encouraging collaboration.

In return you can look forward to growing your career as an EDI specialist amongst a great team, whilst enjoying an excellent benefits package that includes extensive annual leave entitlement, non-contributory pension and fantastic career development support.

Please note; this role offers hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week working on campus and flexibility to attend events and other role-related activities as required.

All direct and third party applications will be forwarded to Morgan Law.
