Location: Hybrid - remote working and regional office based within one of our southern regional offices in London, Bristol or Essex (regular travel to London required)

AET seeks an experienced HR leader for the pivotal role of Head of HR Services in our diverse Trust—one of the largest in education. This exciting opportunity involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality HR functions across our schools in the South. As a key member of the HR senior leadership team, you'll collaborate with school Principals, Regional Education Directors, and Trust Leadership to ensure effective HR services supporting educational needs.

Your responsibilities will span overseeing HR policies, innovating service delivery, fostering employee relations, and maintaining inclusive partnerships with trade unions. You will lead research on employment legislation, provide expert advice, and play a vital role in implementing trust strategies, including contributing to the EEDI Strategy's development.

As Head of HR Services, you'll manage HR delivery for 32 schools in the South, leading a team of three Regional HR Business Partners. Your role encompasses performance management, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning. Strong leadership skills are essential for motivating and managing a team across three locations.
