Job Details

Leading organisation within the Education Sector seeking an interim HR Manager, to support with their current HR project. My client is seeking an experienced, practical and knowledgeable HR professional who can join their close-knit team and lead on the assessment of the current HR function and support with overall improvement.

Your New Role

Within your new role, as HR Manager, reporting into the Head of HR, you will be expected to lead on the evaluation of the current HR function, including evaluation of all systems, contracts and processes. You will complete a full audit, working closely with staff to understand any issues or gaps, whilst also supporting the HR Lead.
As well as uncovering areas of improvement, during your time with the organisation, you will also support with HR processes including implementation of staff training, policy writing and process improvement.
With full support from the Head of HR, your overall goal as HR Manager is to support in ensuring the basics are in place to create a strong foundation for the organisation moving forward.
The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, experience of working within HR in an education setting (essential) and have experience working within a similar capacity previously.
Main responsibilities:

* Evaluation of the current HR function: Identify what is working and what needs to be changed/improved.
* Review current contracts.
* Assess current processes (i.e Recruitment, Absence, Holidays - ensure they are being dealt with appropriately).
* Discuss staff thoughts and needs.
* Support the HR Lead.
* Review current policies and update where necessary.
* Implement staff training where necessary.
