HR Professional - TUPE Transfer Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth transition of a TUPE transfer for the organisation. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, legal advisors, and employee representatives to manage the entire TUPE process, including consultations and potential redundancies.
* TUPE Compliance:
* Interpret and apply TUPE regulations to safeguard employees' rights during the transfer.
* Ensure continuity of terms and conditions for affected employees.
* Consultation Process:
* Lead consultation meetings with employee representatives, providing clear information and addressing concerns.
* Facilitate open communication and transparency throughout the process.
* Redundancy Management:
* Assess the impact of the transfer on staffing levels.
* Work closely with line managers to identify potential redundancies.
* Develop and implement fair redundancy processes, adhering to legal requirements.
* Draft clear and concise communications for employees, explaining the TUPE process and its implications.
* Liaise with external partners, such as legal advisors and trade unions.
* Employee Relations:
* Provide guidance to line managers on handling employee queries and concerns.
* Mitigate any potential disputes arising from the transfer.
* Data Management:
* Maintain accurate records related to the TUPE process.
* Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
* CIPD qualification or equivalent in HR management.
* Proven experience in managing TUPE transfers, ideally within a complex organisational context.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, particularly related to TUPE within public sector and unionised environments.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Based in Portsmouth, Hampshire
2-3 days on site in Portsmouth
3 months initial interim contract via Hays weekly time sheets
