OD Consultant 1 - Career Progression
Leading on this aspect of the project you will design and deliver a career pathways framework that shows how our people can grow and succeed, guided by our values and behaviours.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
* Define the programme's vision, mission, objectives, and success indicators aligning it with the organisation's strategy, values, and culture.
* Conduct a bench marking analysis of similar or competing organisations
* Segment the audience based on their career stage, level, role, or aspiration and gather their feedback on their needs and expectations.
* Map out the career paths and progression opportunities for each group and design a framework of competencies, skills, and behaviours for each level or role. Ensure the framework is inclusive and diverse and supports underrepresented talent.
* Collaborate with HR and department heads to align and implement the career paths and framework with the organisation's structure, policies, and processes. Promote and guide the employees and managers on how to use them.
* Partner with Talent acquisition to identify the current and future talent needs and gaps and use their data and insights to inform the programme design and delivery.
OD Consultant 2 - Leadership & Talentpool
Your primary focus will be to cultivate a robust talent pool and implement effective succession planning measures within the organisation.
You will strategically help identify high-potential talent, design tailored development programmes, and support to establish a comprehensive succession plan for key leadership positions.
Through these efforts, you will ensure a steady pipeline of qualified individuals ready to step into leadership roles as needed.
The leadership development programme you oversee will serve as a vehicle to achieve these overarching goals, providing a structured framework for nurturing and enhancing the skills and qualities essential for effective leadership. By aligning the programme with the organisation's values and strategic objectives, you will facilitate the growth and development of current and future leaders while fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration across the organisation.
Ultimately, your role is pivotal in ensuring that the leaders shine and that the organisation is well-equipped to thrive both now and in the future.
Both of these roles offer immediate starts for a 6-12 month contract.
To be considered, your CV needs to really highlight a strong background in either of the above areas at a senior level but we are open to the sector you come from.
