Please note - this role offers hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week working from the London offices.
As HR Data, Insights & Reporting Analyst in this newly created role, you will support the HR function and its internal partners to drive an effective people strategy by extracting meaningful insights from existing and new data and developing reporting capability. Drawing on your experience of working with HR data including its extraction from source systems and transformation / cleaning ready for analysis, you will utilise your knowledge and skills with reporting and analytics tools to identify and recommend data, support cleansing activity and develop the ongoing improvement and quality of HR data reports. This role will also include:
* Producing regular monthly and annual reports to support HR business processes
* Implementing a suite of HR Insight dashboards
* Identifying stakeholder requirements and translating these to advise and create suitable visuals and measures.
* Reviewing trends in requests for information and developing self-service solutions to meet the operational and strategic needs of regular internal customers
* Extracting and combining datasets to support managers making decisions relating to pay, rewards and policy
* Producing HR information for statutory reports, surveys and external agencies on pay, workforce performance indicators and benchmarking and FOI requests
To be considered you will require:
* Experience of working with HR data including its extraction from source systems and transformation / cleaning ready for analysis
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and extensive relevant experience in a comparable role
* HRIS system experience including iTrent and Business Objects
* Experience of utilising analytical and data visualisation tools including Tableau and Power BI
* Experience with Excel to an advanced level
* Demonstrable ability to clearly present data results visually, verbally and in writing
* Previous experience of working in the Higher Education sector and working with HE and HESA staff returns would be highly desirable
