TU Dublin is excited to recruit our first Chief Human Resources Officer, a role that is critical for successfully aligning and supporting our people to the University mission and goals. We have big ambitions for our Human Resources and we are looking for someone who can develop a ‘best in class’ Human Resources service: a strategic thinker who can lead out on the development and implementation of our People Strategy.

Reporting to - and partnering with - the Vice President for People, Organisation and Culture, you will lead a team of approximately 75 HR professionals and support staff. You will be a member of TU Dublin’s senior leadership team and work in close partnership with the Vice President and other executive leaders of TU Dublin.

The Chief Human Resources Officer will support the UET to balance our ambition to be a place where people love to work and learn with appropriate management of people risk.  You will have a key role in strategic leadership, developing and delivering our People Strategy in close collaboration with the UET and wider leadership and employee groups.

Hours of work:       The hours of work are those agreed under Public Sector Agreements in respect of above grades  

Salary:                     The salary for the post is aligned to the Secretary Financial Controller Level 2 salary scale i.e.  €105,716 - €135,025.
