Your new company

We are working with a public sector organisation based in Shipley/ Bradford City Centre. They are looking for a HR administrator to join them on a 5-month temporary basis. You will be part of a collaborative team, but will have more focus on Learning and Development. So if you have any experience with LMS systems, booking training, checking attendance, then this is perfect.

Your new role
Enthusiastic, driven, passionate, caring colleague who can deliver outstanding service on a wide range of HR practices and procedures.
Key role, managing all aspects of HR lifecycle administration, recruitment, onboarding and HR compliance, learning and development. Supporting colleagues and leaders on policies, procedures. Managing large volume of work, day to day.
Learning and Development

* Provide support for the learning and development team
* Update apprenticeship records etc
* Provide support on the LMS system
* Prepare and organise course attendance
* Answer basic L&D questions from colleagues
* Log and record any requests for qualifications, conferences etc
* Manage the new starters induction programmes

Shared service

* Be the first point of contact for all people service queries for the complete colleague lifecycle
* Manage all queries with the right first time approach
* Advise on people policies, practises and procedures
* Process all starters and leavers
* Maintain 100% accuracy with colleague records within the HR system and on line
* Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection legislation dealing with matters sensitively and flagging any GDPR concerns immediately
* Provide administrative support to the HRBP team as needed
* Ensure data is accurately prepared and shared for monthly payroll activities in accordance with the payroll schedule
* Support the management of the benefits systems on line and support colleagues as needed


* Support all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle
* To manage adverts if required, to support the wider team
* Monitor and manage all stages of the onboarding, preparing offer letters and contracts within 24 hours
* Provide updates to leaders about progress of candidates through onboarding
* Manage and prepare all new employee paperwork
* Ensure all candidates have an amazing onboarding experience
* Work with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
Previous Learning and Development experience/ HR experience.
