HR Manager

Your new company
I am delighted to be supporting a multi-site organisation on the recruitment of a HR Manager to join the HR Function; you will have line management responsibility of the HR team and report to the Head of HR.
This is a hybrid opportunity, with the option to work at a site that is closest to you; Newcastle, Gateshead or Sunderland, and you will be required to travel in between the sites when required.

Your new role
Within this position you will support the line managers and deliver an effective HR service across the organisation, providing line management to the HR team and supporting on the implementation of the HR Strategy and new HR System.
Other responsibilities include:

* Provide guidance and support to management in areas including disciplinary matters, grievances, absence management, and restructuring, redundancies and change management.
* Support the development of HR systems, policies and procedures.
* Involved within the full recruitment lifecycle.
* Provide training on HR processes to Line Managers Provide training on HR processes to Line Managers

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful within this position, you will require experience with the following:

* Experience working within a HR Function
* Implementing and managing HR Systems
* Experience managing a small team
* Good knowledge on Employment Law
* Managing ER Case loads; Absence & Disciplinaries
* Understanding how contracts are structured
