£78,407.04 – annual salary
£16,387 – annual employer pension contribution (LGPS 20.9%)
45 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Based in Hereford with travel to other sites in Herefordshire and Shropshire

The role of Director of Human Resources calls for outstanding leadership and excellence in personnel and payroll management (LGPS and TPA pension schemes), staff development, safer recruitment, health and safety, safeguarding quality assurance audit and staff equality, diversity and inclusion.
The successful candidate will be an inspirational senior manager with a demonstrable track record in providing a professional and effective service to all staff and managers. Applicants must be CIPD qualified to level 5 as a minimum and be a Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Development .
A good working knowledge of current employment legislation and guidance is essential together with a good working knowledge of payroll provision, staff development issues and procedures, heath and safety legislation and arrangements and current EDI practices.
A vision and enthusiasm for the successful future of the College is expected as well as a strong commitment and flexible approach to problem solving. The ability to manage resources effectively within budgetary constraints and to inspire and motivate others is essential.
