Main Duties:
● Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
● Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, promoting
vacancies and supporting the hiring process
● Develop a comprehensive training and development programme
● Assist in performance management processes
● Support the CEO with the management of employee relations including
sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance issues
● Implement different initiatives to increase employee engagement
●Supporting the CEO with ensuring CASP is adhering to current employment
legislation
● Assisting with the review and development of policies and procedures
●Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
● Contributing towards reviewing and updating the current HR strategy

● Competence in IT software, such as, Microsoft Office and Human Resources
Information Systems (HRIS) including BrightHR or a similar system.


Other requirements for this role include:
● Possess HR experience working at an advisory level
● Have a Disclosure and Barring Service check for CASP (DBS checks are not
currently portable unless you have joined the update service)
● Regularly provide updates to the HR Trustee and the Board, when required.
● Be confident about our purpose and work and become an ambassador for
CASP
● A willingness to devote the necessary time and effort when undertaking this
volunteering role
● Commitment to the organisation for a minimum of at least 9 months

Expenses
● This is a voluntary position, but reasonable out of pocket expenses are
reimbursed.


Time Commitment
● Initially attending the office at least every 2 weeks but this can be reviewed
after 3 months
● Keeping in touch with the HR Trustee on a monthly basis, via Zoom or Teams.
● Attend the Annual General Meeting at CASP’s office on Badsworth Rd in
Camberwell, London
