Job Details

We have an excellent opportunity for an HR Advisor to join a large business near Chichester.
As an HR Advisor, you will be working as part of a busy HR team who are supporting a complex, fast-paced site, providing exceptional HR service with high standards of advice and support. As HR Advisor, you will steer, support and advise people leaders on the following topics:

* First point of contact - advising HR issues for circa 500 employees. 1st line
* Responsible for running weekly meetings with people managers.
* Supporting with measures to improve employee wellbeing.
* Processing contractual changes using SAP.
* To support, and, where appropriate, lead HR projects.
* Managing ER cases from start to end. This can include performance, absence, grievance and disciplinary topics.
* Supporting people managers with absence management cases and measures.
* Supporting people managers with the leavers process including arrangements for exit interviews.
* Supporting recruitment activities - this includes attending interviews, assessment days and onboarding.

Qualifications

* CIPD Level 5 qualification or relevant work experience.
* Knowledge of HR processes and best practice.
* UK employment law.
* Passion for continuous improvement with a focus on digital transformation.
* The ability to deal with complexity and change management in a positive and proactive manner.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A people person: you will provide a calm, patient and supportive influence.
* A team player with strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills based on trust and transparency.
* Experience in a unionised environment (desirable).
* It would also be great if you had experience of managing HR projects and line manager training.
