Job Details
I am recruiting a Reward & Benefits Manager, to work for a Government Organisation in Westminster, on a 3-month interim basis. Interviews will take place next week (w/c 1st April). The role will start on Monday 15th April, so please only apply if you are available on 1 week's notice, or immediately.
* Duration: 3 months (to cover whilst they recruit permanently)
* Daily rate: £430 PAYE or £500 Umbrella per day - inside IR35
* Hybrid working: 3 days at home and 2 days in the office per week, (you can work from the office more than 2 days if desired)
Your new role
Within a fast-paced organisation of 230, this role will report to the Head of HR, and sit within an HR team of 10. You will be the sole reward point of contact.This is an exciting time to join the team and the purpose of the role is to lead the end-of-year review process, and to lead on bonus modelling;
* Responsible for implementation of the reward policy and the full pay cycle
* Management of the annual performance variable pay process
* Lead on bonus modelling - there is a bonus model in place (% of salary based on performance), with set parameters, so there will be more to update with information for current employees/salaries, and maximise the budget available
* Management of the year-end appraisal process, ensuring all reviews are completed on time and that performance ratings are captured in the HR Information System (Success Factors)
* Support the annual submission of the pay remit business case, in line with Civil Service Pay Guidance.
What you'll need to succeed
* Candidates will ideally have public sector/Civil Service experience, with an appreciation for public sector restraints, whilst working within set parameters.
* Have led on pay reviews and modelling previously
* Analytically savvy, with intermediate/advanced Excel skills (using logical functions, working with lookups, data validation, pivot tables and charts, plus analytical options
* Experience of salary and bonus forecasting within designated budgets.
* Knowledge/understanding of Hay/job evaluation
What you'll get in return
You will start ASAP on 15th April, will be paid weekly and work on a hybrid basis, with 2 days per week in the office (more if desired) and 3 days at home.
