Your new role
This is a 6-month assignment as an interim HR professional with a focus on supporting their TUPE process following an acquisition. In this post will provide HR guidance and practical support throughout the lifecycle of the business acquisition process, including due diligence analysis and TUPE transfer - ensuring a smooth transition. You will be facilitating stakeholder management and collaboration relating to the merger and acquisition process, including with the recognised Trade Union, to build strong and credible relationships across the organisations. Although based in Bristol, you will, on occasion, also be required to go to another location, e.g. Swindon - expenses paid. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. This will be nearer full time in the initial couple of weeks during your induction. You may well also get involved in other areas with HR e.g. policy, being on panel for ER cases.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced HR professional who has experience in TUPE who is available for at least 6 months for this assignment as well as:

* Considerable practical experience of undertaking HR advisory work for a busy and diverse management workforce and managing multiple stakeholders and cases, including grievance, conduct, performance, absence/welfare and other such policy processes.
* Significant experience of working on people aspects of acquisitions and mergers, including TUPE Significant experience of leading on change management processes including consultation, reorganisation, redeployment and redundancy.
* Experience of working as part of a project management team and leading on aspects of people projects.
* Practical experience of successfully creating, planning and implementing cross-functional HR initiatives.
* Experience of monitoring HR measures of performance and preparing reports for management teams. Significant experience of using HRIS, Microsoft applications and other databases.
* Experience of working with Trade Unions / Professional Associations.
* Experience of working in an inclusive culture.
* You will need to be able to commence the assignment quickly.
